From the data of the table, we can see that in terms of biomass fuel cost, briquette boilers and oil boilers have advantages, but there are still some gaps compared with coal fired boilers and combined heat and power boilers. Therefore, under the current conditions, the local heating, fuel and other special fields of heating to should be given priority to promote in Changchun. This also conforms to the present capacity of biomass particles.

Future development plans:

Many ways, a variety of materials, various dense types of developing compact low-cost biomass fuels. The target cost is within 500.

Develop rural central biomass heating. Combined with the development of socialist new countryside construction, it should develop locally the biomass heating.

Compared with other forms of steam, steam supply cost of biomass fuel also conforms to the above law. But it has an advantage in terms of steam quality and timeliness. In addition, the cost of steam supplied by power plant is different from that of heating: one is high cost, the other is grave waste. If the steam is supplied by power plants or district heating, suppliers are deficit and buyers will have more losses. In this situation, it is advised to change this model from a policy point of view

The thermal efficiency of about ten thousand medium and small coal-fired boilers in Jilin is 30-50%, whose large amount of solid and gas wastes pose great pressure on the environment and is a main short pull to change the pattern of extensive economic growth of high energy consumption, high pollution. The average thermal efficiency of solid biomass fuels is about 80% and is the clean energy with zero-emission of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide. Percentage of solid combustion residues can also return to the field. If 10 million tons of biomass resources are converted into solid fuel, five main areas are involved: resource gathering, processing, storage and transportation, gas appliance manufacturers and service. According to preliminary estimates, it will generate 10 billion Yuan output value, stimulate 30 billion Yuan direct investment, 100 billion Yuan indirect investment, achieve the replacement of fossil fuels of 6 million tons of standard coal, reduce 15 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The replacement of fossil energy sources for solid biomass fuels has been certified through the methodology, and can get emission reduction benefits of about 150 million Euros through the CDM project at the current price and 1.5 billion subsidies of national policy. The industry roots in the countryside and provides opportunities for the farmers to realize non-farm employment at the gates, which is beneficial to increase farmers' income and then will become a new industry stimulating domestic demand.
